The Ranger's Apprentice mod is based on the Ranger's Apprentice series by John Flanagan. It isn't based on the storyline but rather the people and lands of the world in the story.
Please play unrealistic mode (that is, don't choose realistic when first starting your character) as it will enable you to fix this long-standing bug: you may get a message saying all your men desert your party because of leadership concerns. Please reload game, press ESC, click SAVE AS, save it as a new file, exit the game, delete the old file, load the new one.
