As you can see we didn't update the site a lot lately and we apologize about it. It's because unfortunately all our team members are busy in real life and can't spare some time anymore for the site.

After some time due to a January first massive hangover, here are the results of the MFB 2009 Screenshot competition! You can see the winning screenshot just below.
We thank and wish good luck for the next competition to the others participants, Xopur, Weren, and Lord Aedin, they actually submitted very nice screenshots too.
Adorno easily won the contest with more than 40% of votes cast in this poll, with this screenshot of these two vikings boats near a village.
So we're happy to announce that he wins the famous MFB T-shirt.
As you can see on this picture on the right that he put in his profile, he really needed a t-shirt anyway ! :) |  |

The end of the year is coming and we decided to make a little M&B Screenshot Competition, and the winner will get a MFB t-shirt as a reward for the first place ! Screenshots can be funny, artistic, violent... Photoshop editing is allowed even if it will be taken in consideration compared to "genuine" screenhots. You can submit your screenshots in this thread.
Prize :
This MountFanBlade shirt (L or XL size)
Rules :
- Only 2 submissions (screenshots) max by user.
- Duplicate accounts on the forum aren't allowed (else both account will be disqualified).
- You must be the screenshot's owner, do not post a screenshot from someone else.
- You must post your screenshot(s) in this thread, if you don't have a webspace to post it, go on Imageshack or on a similar site.
- Screenshot resolution must be 1024x768 or higher.
- You must submit your screenshot before the 15th of December at midnight !
Once submissions will be over, we will select the best 8 screenshots and visitors will vote for them in a poll on the main page. Votes will stop on the 1st of January (or the 2nd/3th if our team didn't fully recover from new year party).

As you have seen we have been quite inactive lately. I am personally very busy with my kid and other team members are busy too in their private life...
So we really need new active team members to post news about mods and add them in the addon section, and post other regular news!

Here's the small MFB goodie that one of our registered member will win today! As you can see it's a MFB mug which will be useful on morning to drink your coffee while browsing news, mods or the forums!
Of course you can use it to drink something else than coffee...

There have been 460 visitors on August the 1st, 566 on August the 15th, and 780 visitors that visited the site today, and this month we've already reached 12783 visitors in 24 days!
We're really happy, honored and proud that you like what we are doing here ! 
However, the site still needs people to write news, post screenshots, create articles, speak about M&B and its mods we can play on, and add more activity and interactivity !
Please contact us to become a member of the team! If you don't have time to work for the community, you can at least register on the site.
Registering is important since you could have a nice surprise if the upcoming days if you're registered... Stay tuned!

Over the past two days, captain lust has been updating and filling our addon section, by adding several mods along with descriptions and they're all available to download directly on our server!
Currently, we have a handful of excellent mods and we're in the process of attaining permission for the rest.
Tomorrow, we'll be making final adjustments to the categorization of the addons.
No prizes, for guessing why we're doing this...

Welcome on Mount Fan Blade website ! The purpose of this site is to provide Mount & Blade community information, to centralize resources, screenshots, news and downloads, articles, reviews... and more!
On a personal note, I discovered this fantastic game quite late and like a lot of newbies it was quite difficult for me to have news about the mods out there (working with the latest M&B version), unless spending time on the various forum topics, even if some pinned ones are actually nicely made. That's why I had the idea to create a such site, but unfortunately I don't know M&B community enough to be really efficient about content. That's why we need to create a solid working team to update the site on a regular basis.
If you are interested by the game like I am, do not hesitate to contact me in order to be able to fill this site with all valuable information, articles, debates, mods, that you might found or create !
The idea about the funny domain name is from Captain Lust!
